Couples Ministry (Fit for Life)
Is your marriage Fit to survive the smallest trail and biggest adversity? Do you and your partner have good communication skill, good enough to discuss pertinent issues or do you prefer to internalise your concerns hoping that your partner will read your mind. Do you know how to discuss finances without the house going up in flames? Crystal Fit for Life unites young married couples providing support and teaching on the real expectations and experiences of a young marriage. We promote better communication, improved resource management and spiritual growth. This is where relationships will find shelter and support as you meet and connect with other couples who share the same desire for their marriage to NOT just survive BUT to thrive. We believe that stable marriages and families guarantee stable communities and societies
Events
We plan events which are focused on fun and excitement as well as bringing unity to all participating couples.
Monthly Events - We have monthly programs aimed at marriage enrichment and fellowshipping with other couples.
Relationship Building Conference – We encourage couples to attend the annual Relationship Building Conference which is hosted by Rev Carl and Ps. Joan Hendricks. At the conference issues are addressed around marriage relations. A gala dinner is hosted at the end of the conference where couples are afforded an opportunity to renew their wedding vows.
Couples Retreat - A couples retreat is hosted over a weekend with the sole purpose of taking a break and bonding with each other. It is important to spend quality time together (couple time), most couples battle with because of their responsibilities and so they lose track of each other's needs.
Family Fun Day- We live very busy lives and sometimes spending quality time with your spouse or children is put on the burner, our children live in a technology advanced world and the importance of family life is not understood hence our family fun days aimed at getting families to bond and to spend that much needed quality family time.
Yearly Outreach Program - Our yearly outreach program is aimed at visiting children's homes and spending quality time with them, it is so important for children in homes or shelter to know that they are not forgotten, it is even more important for families to realise how privileged we are that we are part of a family, a social until where love abides.
Vision
Our desire is to create a positive and uplifting environment for all young married couples. To assist in building relationships through mutual love and respect based on biblical principles that will serve as a beacon of light for generations to come. To provide couples with the information and support they need to make their marriage thrive. We further hope to become role models, mentors and guides for younger couples. If you desire a God honouring marriage that thrives on commitment, intimacy and growth then Crystal Fit For life is your gymnasium.
